Questions before using OnMyMenu
Is OnMyMenu a recipe app?
Not in the traditional sense. OnMyMenu focuses on finished dishes you have actually made, rather than ingredients, cooking steps, or recipe discovery.
Do I need an account?
You do not need an account to create and browse your local menu. The picking feature creates a temporary shared menu when you choose to invite people.
Can my family pick dinner with OnMyMenu?
Yes. Choose a small set of dishes, share a picking link, and see what your family or guests want before you start cooking.
Do guests need the app?
No. Guests open the picking link in a web browser and choose the dishes they want.
Where are my photos stored?
Your original dish photos and local menu records stay on your iPhone by default.
What is uploaded when I use menu picking?
Only the selected dish thumbnails and the information needed for that picking round, such as the picking title, guest names, and picks.
Which devices are supported?
The current version is designed for iPhone and requires iOS 18 or later.
